I was a government prosecutor for just under six years, and have been in private practice for almost seven. I've tried over a hundred cases in court.   I deal with big law firms who have many partners and associates, medium sized firms, and sole practioners like myself.  As a deputy district attorney, I was actually in the courtroom almost every working day for almost six years.  I have continued my trial work since entering private practice, in both criminal and civil matters.

My name is Ken Kissir. I'm an attorney located in Gresham, where I have lived since 1998. I represent men and women primarily in Multnomah County including Gresham Circuit Court, Portland and in Clackamas. I am an experienced courtroom attorney, and have been practicing law for over 12 years.

I grew up in east Portland. My kids go to school in the Barlow district.  My office is located at 501 NE Hood Ave in downtown Gresham.

When you call my office, my receptionist won't just automatically forward your call to my assistant (unless you request that), to schedule a consultation.  You might get my voice mail, but if you do I'll call you back later that day. I like to schedule my own appointments, because based on what you tell me I then have a better idea of what your situation is and how much time we should plan on initially meeting for. If you have a case currently pending in the State Court system, I can look it up while we talk and then have a better idea about what is going on.  My philosophy is that if you have gone to the trouble to call me, then I think it's only right that I reciprocate by talking to you myself. If you hire me, you know where to find me and how to get ahold of me if something urgent comes up.  I'm not going to send another attorney to appear in Court for me, because I don't hire associates.  If you hire me as your attorney, I will handle every aspect of your case.
