I am licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington, however, most of my cases are in Multnomah County, Gresham Circuit Court, Clackamas County, and municipal courts like Troutdale and Fairview.

If you call me about a case that is farther away, I will always give you the option of talking to me further about it, or referring you to another qualified attorney in that location.

I represent men and women primarily in Multnomah County - including Gresham Circuit Court, and in Clackamas.  Many of my clients live near me in Gresham.  I have one office location, off of East Burnside next to Donut World and the La Carreta, across the street from Dee's.  As a deputy district attorney, I practiced in one of the smallest Oregon counties, Clatsop (Astoria), for two years, and then in the largest, Multnomah, for almost four years.  I entered pricate practice in 2002, and have since worked in many counties.  There are differnent dynamics in different locations, and these may be something that influence your decision about what attorney to hire to represent you.

Some cases should be handled by an attorney that is in or near a particular jurisdiction, for strategical purposes. In other cases it isn't important for that reason, however, depending upon various factors including travel time it may be more beneficial to you to hire someone in that locality.

I ask my clients to be realistic, and I expect the same of myself.  If  I think you would be better off with an attorney somewhere else, I am committed to being honest with you about that. I do this for the benefit of my consciense, but also for my own self interest. I want to do everything I can to make sure you obtain the best representation in your current case, in part so that you will trust my judgment and call me if you or someone you know needs me for something else.
